Position: Skilled Labourer - Stephen Avenue

Shift: Day

Schedule: 6 days on 1 day off; Monday to Saturday

Accommodations: Local only

Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Skilled Labourer for work with Technical Workforce Inc. at the Stephen Avenue project in Calgary, AB.

Please Note: This is for local hires only. There are no camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living-out allowance for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters with site access construction and site maintenance
• Support with barrier repairs, fence work, and other general site tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the job site
• Secure and move materials as needed
• Operate basic site equipment as assigned
• Identify and report any site damage or hazards
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor

Requirements

• CSTS & WHMIS 2015 certifications required
• Equipment operation experience is an asset
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in varied site conditions
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull, and walk on uneven terrain
• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site
• Strong work ethic and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
