Job summary

Ledcor Building Services is seeking a hands-on Labourer for the Vancouver site to support restoration, repair, and finishing tasks. You will work under the Foreperson and collaborate with the crew to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for residential and commercial projects.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in restoration or renovation, strong customer service, and excellent organizational skills, with safety as a priority and willingness to learn. Pre-employment drug testing is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in residential or commercial restoration or renovation projects.
• Experience with stainless steel renewal, stone restoration, weather protection, glass scratch restoration, window sealing, and mullion repair is a strong asset.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Technically proficient with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• First Aid with Transportation Endorsement, WHMIS, and Fall Protection certification (completed or willingness to obtain).
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labour and repair duties on residential and commercial projects.
• Complete sink, bathtub, countertop, and cabinet repairs.
• Perform flooring, tile, drywall, and paint touch-ups.
• Repair walls, doorways, and other interior finishes.
• Conduct deficiency walk-throughs and complete detailed deficiency reporting.
• Support damage prevention activities and maintain overall site conditions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment for the crew, clients, and the public.

Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in quality work? Ledcor Construction is looking for a motivated and reliable Laborer to join our Building Services Team in Vancouver.

In this role, you’ll take on a variety of restoration, repair, and finishing tasks in both residential and commercial settings. Working under the direction of the Foreperson, you’ll collaborate with your teammates to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Working Conditions:

• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, lifting (up to 25 pounds), in confined spaces and in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
• Occasional travel required to site and/or other office locations

Compensation

$24.94 - $32.47 per hour

This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.

Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
