Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in plastering, drywall installation and finishing.

• Own vehicle required for transportation to multiple sites.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and long periods of standing.

Responsibilities

• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster
• Clean and prepare surfaces
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
