Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a Carpenter for residential and industrial projects across multiple locations. You will measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other materials, build foundations, walls, and roof systems, and coordinate site work with teams.

Responsibilities include estimating costs and materials, preparing tenders, and maintaining facilities across mills, mines, hospitals, and plants. 40-hour weeks and English-language work environment are expected.

Qualifications

• No formal degree required; practical skills valued.
• Maintenance and repair experience is applicable.
• Work language: English; 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Prepare tenders and quotations
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Estimate costs and materials
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
