Job summary

Forefront Construction Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in New Brunswick. The role is based on-site at Scoudouc, NB and various job sites, offering permanent full-time employment with 40 hours per week and a wage of $28.00 per hour.

Trade certification is not required. Responsibilities include constructing, repairing and renovating residential and commercial structures, reading plans, measuring accurately and safely operating hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience.
• Secondary school graduation certificate required.
• Ability to read plans and take accurate measurements.
• Experience with framing, renovations, repairs and finishing work.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Physical stamina for demanding work.
• English language required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair and renovate residential and commercial structures.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood and other materials.
• Build and install walls, floors, roofs, subfloors and framing components.
• Install doors, windows, trim and finishing materials.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
• Perform structural repairs and renovation work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow company and job-site safety procedures.
