Job description

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Site Supervisor position in the GTA.

Overall Purpose
  • Ensure the quality service and support of all mission actives at a location they are assigned.
  • Ensure that all Company/Customer mission guidelines are being adhered to and meet quality standards.
  • Support and contribute to the company Quality Policies & QMS.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers and site personnel.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders at the site level.
  • Ensure clear and transparent communication to clients.
Operations
  • Set up and supervise missions (planning daily activities, customer requests, new projects).
  • Staff missions.
  • Assist with changes in missions.
  • Conduct ongoing audits of effectiveness of work being performed.
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and functional verifications to insure compliance to quality standards and specifications.
  • Complete audits to ensure work instructions and policies are followed.
  • Ensure the techniques for determining non-conforming product are accurate and repeatable.
  • Supervise/Train/Mentor team members.
  • Coordinate team members daily schedules/activities to ensure successful daily operations.
  • Demonstrates commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidents.
  • Comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies.
  • Manage communication/pass down of daily activities and work order changes from Shift to Shift.
Organization & Management
  • Ensure all site personnel receive corporate communications.
  • Partner with Human Resources for performance and attendance issue resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between Site Manager and team members.
  • Create and maintain a 5S/6S working environment.
Technical
  • Update daily system entries in company and Customer portals.
  • Create and maintain customer and company reports.
  • Analyze technical requirements for customer jobs/missions (existing or upcoming).
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve with the supplier and customer for issues pertaining to process flow, new criteria, spikes/spills.
  • Assist as needed with the creation of electronic work instructions and have the ability to navigate company and customer websites and portals.
Containment
  • Manage training and performance of Associates and Leads regarding their Work Orders.
  • Determine the number of associates required to perform active Work Orders, and monitor scheduling and overtime.
  • Follow current TRIGO driven policies regarding Safety, Dress Code, and Mutilation.
  • Assist QDLs in determining optimal Work Order locations.
  • Review the JSA (Job Safety Analysis) completed by QDLs for all new Work Orders.
  • Ensure 8D corrective actions are properly rolled out.
  • Contact Reject Control and QSP during high fallout events.
  • Respond to accident/safety issues and communicate details to the Operations Manager and Site Manager.
  • Perform tool hand‑out and collections process daily.
  • Respond timely to auditor findings through corrective actions, and assist the Quality Technician if required.
  • Complete/oversee employee clock in/out process.
  • Communicate any need for supplies to the local TRIGO office.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough inspection data on TRIGO App.
  • Review the IPSQ report against TRIGO App data daily, enter any missing rejects into IPSQ, and notify team of the corrections made.
Other
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Full proficiency in local language.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Ability to lift/move 50 lbs.
  • Writing work instructions.
  • Comprehension level knowledge of zero defects and similar quality practices.
  • Comprehension level of FIFO material flow applications.
  • Ability to interpret blueprint drawings preferred.
  • Ability to travel as required (up to ~50%).
  • Global team spirit, caring for people, resilience to pressure, client-oriented, reliable & trustworthy.

  • 2+ years of work experience in a supervisory role preferred.
  • 2+ years in Quality related position preferred.
  • Associate's degree in Business Management or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
