In this regard, we are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Site Superintendent. This role reports directly to the Construction Manager, Western Canada. This role plays a crucial role in facilitating effective communication, overseeing on-site activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining the highest quality of our construction projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the construction activities that take place on the assigned worksite.
  • Assist management in planning, organizing, and controlling projects.
  • Supervise sub-trades and suppliers while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Site Superintendent and leadership as set out in the IHSA (Ontario).
  • Understand, respect, and adhere to existing management protocols and processes as developed by the company in the construction of the project.
  • Leadership and mentoring to your colleagues including fellow Superintendents with site leadership and COR ™ protocol administration.
  • Maintain and build relationships with local sub-trades and their workers and represent this firm to the construction community's highest moral and ethical standards.
  • Other associated work and or assignments as directed by the Vice President.
Skills
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience leading complex ICI projects.
  • Hi-rise experience would be an asset.
  • Hold a University Degree or College Diploma in Construction Engineering or Management or an equivalent combination of academic qualification and substantial industry know-how.
  • Exhibit proficient written and oral communication abilities.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel, Autodesk BIM, MS Project, MS Office.
Education

Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management or Technical Diploma or Certificate in similar disciplines combined with relevant experience.
