Job summary

Pacer Group in Toronto is seeking a GCP Infrastructure & Cloud SRE Engineer for a 6-12 month contract hybrid role. You will manage Google Cloud Platform services, GKE, and Compute Engine, building resilient enterprise-scale platforms in a BFSI setting.

Design IaC with Terraform, enhance observability, automate incident response, and support cloud landing zones and developer platforms. Strong Linux, Python, and Shell scripting are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with GCP services including GKE, Compute Engine and Networking.
• Experience building enterprise-scale cloud platforms on GCP.
• Design and implement GKE/Kubernetes-based container platforms.
• Proficient in Terraform for IaC and automation.
• Experience with SRE, observability, incident management and automation.
• Proficient in Linux, Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience building cloud landing zones and reusable infra services.
• Knowledge of FinOps, cloud security and enterprise operations.

Job Title: GCP Infrastructure & Cloud SRE Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days a week)

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 06-12 Months

Pay Rate: CAD 50-55/hour Incorporated

Domain: BFSI

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP Services, GKE, Compute Engine, Networking, IAM.
• Able to build and manage enterprise-scale cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Exp. in designing and implementing GKE/Kubernetes-based container platforms.
• Ex. In developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Experience with SRE practices, observability, incident management, and automation.
• Proficiency in Linux, Python, Shell Scripting.
• Experience building cloud landing zones, developer platforms, and reusable infrastructure services.
• Knowledge of FinOps, cloud security, and enterprise operations.
