Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance in Just-In-Time / Just-in-Sequence production.
• Respond to line calls and troubleshoot equipment.
• Modify equipment for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Job description

Essential Functions/Duties

1. It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Technician to perform preventative, planned and emergency maintenance in our Just-In-Time / Just-in-Sequence production environment
2. Respond to line calls, trouble shoot and repair equipment to support the JIT production.
3. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.
4. Install new plant equipment as required.
5. Fabricate fixtures, workstations etc. as required
6. Modify equipment to support: Safety needs, Quality needs or Efficiency needs.
7. Keep accurate records of work performed.
8. Repair damaged or broken equipment and tooling.
9. Trouble shoot and program PLC’s.
10. Perform facility related maintenance in general carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical.
11. Perform all duties in a safe (Lock Out) and environmental manner.
12. Ensure conformance to all company and legislative policies and procedure and Rules of Conduct.

15. Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for safety related matters requiring immediate repair.
16. Ensuring compliance to and participate in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance & ISO 14001 certification
17. Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor for quality related nonconforming matters requiring immediate repair
18. Other duties as assigned.
