Job description
SITE MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE LEADER -
Essential Functions/Duties
  • It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Supervisor to perform preventative, planned and emergency maintenance in our Just-In-Time Production environment
  • Respond to line calls, troubleshoot and repair equipment to support the JIT production.
  • Develop, direct and perform scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Installation and procurement of new plant equipment as required.
  • Fabricate fixtures, workstations etc as required.
  • Modify equipment to support: Safety needs, Quality needs or Efficiency needs.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed & downtime of each machine.
  • Communication with the maintenance team to ensure proper processes are being followed.
  • Assist troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including PLC-controlled systems
  • Perform facility related maintenance in general carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory
  • Perform all duties in a safe and environmental manner.
  • Directs and supervises Maintenance Technicians on a daily basis.
  • Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for Safety related matters requiring immediate repair.
  • Take every precaution reasonable to protect the Health and Safety of the workers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Reduction of machine downtime through proper analysis and predictive maintenance
  • Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for quality related nonconforming matters requiring immediate repair
  • Ensuring compliance to and participate in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance
  • Support Maintaining of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 processes
  • Support Maintaining of ISO 45001 processes
  • Other duties as assigned, by Manager or Functional Manager
