A global transportation company is seeking a Site Controller to oversee financial performance at their Saint-Bruno site. The role involves financial reporting, cost management, and strategic financial guidance. Candidates should have a degree in Finance or Accounting and significant experience in a controlling role, with strong analytical skills and bilingual abilities in English and French. This position offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for career development within the company.
At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high‑speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.
With growing activities in Canada to meet the increasing demand for sustainable transportation, Alstom is looking for motivated candidates who will help us leverage our expertise and apply it locally.
Join us as Site Controller, and you’ll be working in a career‑defining role.
We are looking for a high‑impact finance professional to lead the financial performance, controlling environment, and operational support of one of Alstom's major sites based in St-Bruno on the South Shore of Montreal.
As the Site Controller, you will serve as the key financial business partner to the Site Managing Director and the site leadership team. You are accountable for financial accuracy, transparent reporting, cost management, forecast reliability and strategic financial guidance.
You will act as the main interface between site functions—Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, Engineering—and regional/country finance teams. You will be responsible for monitoring QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) financial indicators, setting cost‑control targets, validating forecasts and budgets, and ensuring compliance with internal control standards.
ou’ll make decisive contributions by providing financial insights, interpreting variances, challenging assumptions, developing action plans and driving financial performance across the entire site.
We value passion and attitude as much as experience. Here’s what will help you thrive in this role:
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
As a global business, we’re an equal‑opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in. We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.
