Job summary

Calgary Signs & Wraps is seeking an experienced Sign Maker to design and produce signs, manage multiple projects, and provide quality customer service in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in sign design/production, expertise with vinyl, large-format printing, and a strong command of Adobe Creative Suite. This full-time role includes hands-on production, on-site responsibilities, and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a professional sign maker – design and production.
• Background in vinyl creation and application.
• Large format digital printing.
• Design creativity.
• Expertise in using Adobe Design tool suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Experience with RIP software.
• Vehicle wrap installation.
• Knowledgeable in color management.
• Certified installation professional (3M, Avery, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Sign design and production.
• Full-time availability (35 hours/week).
• Answer phones.
• Consult/interface with customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area.
• Assist in maintaining company signage equipment.
• Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs.
• Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign making professional.
