Overview

Position

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking one (1) Sider Helper to join our crew. The successful candidate will assist tradespeople on site, handle materials, and support day-to-day operations. This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist installers with preparing, mixing, measuring, and cutting siding materials.
• Hold panels in place while they are secured and help ensure proper alignment.
• Mix and apply sealants, adhesives or other materials as directed.
• Handle and move siding products and tools around the job site.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment safely under the direction of installers.
• Keep work areas organized by removing scraps, sweeping, and disposing of debris.
• Help set up ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely.
• Perform general site support and follow instructions from lead installers and supervisors.

Employment Terms

• Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)
• Wage: $24.50 per hour, reviewed annually with potential increases
• Benefits: Overtime pay as per BC Employment Standards, and 4% vacation pay

Location

Work will be based at various sites in Surrey, Vancouver, Burnaby, and surrounding areas in the Lower Mainland.
