Job summary

A leading educational institution in Mississauga is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support course activities. Responsibilities include grading assignments, responding to student inquiries, and invigilating exams. The ideal candidate is a 3rd or 4th year student in business, economics, innovation, or entrepreneurship, with a preference for those with prior TA experience. This position runs from September 2 to December 31, 2025, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

  • Preference for applicants who have taken IMI400 and/or at least 2 other courses in the IMI Business Minor.
  • Previous TA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Grading quizzes, tests, assignments & exams.
  • Meet with or respond to students’ inquiries during office hours.
  • Invigilate quizzes, tests & exams.

Minimum Qualifications

3rd or 4th year student in business, economics, innovation or entrepreneurship, preferably who has taken IMI400 and/or at least 2 other courses in the IMI Business Minor.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference given to applicants with previous TA experience in this or equivalent course(s). Preference given to current IMI graduate students.
