Qualifications

  • Experience operating Capacity or Ottawa style shunt trucks is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Movement of semi-trailers and various equipment around the yard.
  • Welcoming customers and positioning vehicles for service.
  • Conducting pre-trip inspections as needed.
  • Assisting technicians and maintaining shop cleanliness.
  • Conducting return inspections when necessary.
  • Performing inventory checks in the yard.

Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Reports to: Service Manager
Job Status: Full Time
Shifts Available: Day Shift - Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 4:30pm

  • Welcoming customers and ensure vehicles are correctly positioned for service.
  • Conducting as-needed pre-trip inspections.
  • Assisting technicians and maintaining shop cleanliness.
  • Conducting return inspections when necessary.
  • Performing inventory checks in the yard.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class 1 Driver’s License and clear Driver’s Abstract.
  • Experience operating Capacity or Ottawa style shunt trucks (asset).
  • 1 year of shunt driving experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, with demonstrated patience and the ability to work effectively in high‑pressure situations.
