King Living invites a founding Showroom Manager for Edmonton to lead from day one, opening a premium space and shaping the customer experience. You will build the team, set standards, manage opening preparations and ongoing operations, and drive sales in a high-end furniture environment.

This role rewards hands-on leadership and brand-building with clear impact. Experience opening new locations is valued; you will mentor staff, own budgets, and collaborate with national teams to ensure flawless

Qualifications

• Proven showroom management experience in premium or luxury retail.
• Strong leadership and team-building with ability to recruit and coach.
• Budget management and commercial acumen with a track record of hitting targets.
• Customer-focused approach delivering premium service and experiences.
• Effective negotiation and communication skills in a fast-paced showroom.
• Experience opening or launching new retail locations is a plus.

As our opening Showroom Manager in Edmonton, you will take full ownership of bringing this showroom to life — from pre-opening preparation through to day-to-day trading, team building, and delivering the premium King Living customer experience from the very first interaction. You will be the face of the brand in Edmonton, backed by a passionate national team and a globally expanding business that is genuinely excited about this market.

What You Will Own

Sales Performance & Customer Experience

You set the tone from day one. Through daily briefings, hands-on coaching and genuine investment in your team's growth, you will build a culture where people are motivated, knowledgeable and proud of where they work.

Showroom Opening & Operational Standards

Lead the preparation and launch of the Edmonton showroom — and keep it running seamlessly once open, managing rosters, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring every corner reflects the design leadership and quality King Living is known for.

Who You Are

You will likely come from a premium retail, furniture, interiors or lifestyle brand background — ideally with experience leading a high-performing team in a showroom or flagship store environment. Experience opening or launching a new retail location is a genuine advantage. What matters most is your commercial instinct, your ability to build a team from scratch, and the standards you hold yourself and your team to.

You are a retail leader who takes pride in your team, your showroom and your results — and you are ready for an environment that gives you the opportunity to build something genuinely your own.

• Proven experience in a Showroom Manager or senior retail leadership role within a premium or luxury environment
• Customer-obsessed — you build trust, inspire confidence, and create experiences customers remember
• Strong mentoring and coaching leadership style with the ability to recruit, onboard and build a cohesive team
• Commercially aware with the ability to manage budgets, drive targets and understand showroom performance
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable — available to work one weekend day as part of your regular roster
• Experience in furniture, textiles or interior design is highly regarded
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable across retail systems
