Showroom Coordinator – Teknion (Vancouver Showroom)

This role focuses on providing exceptional guest experience and supporting the British Columbia sales team in achieving regional objectives.

Base pay range: CA$60,000.00/yr - CA$65,000.00/yr

As the ultimate host, you will deliver a flawless experience for all visitors, from quick drop-ins to major presentations. Responsibilities include booking, welcoming, organizing meeting logistics, coordinating catering, and maintaining an immaculate product presentation area.

Responsibilities
  • Elevate the initial guest impression by personally welcoming all showroom visitors and anticipating their needs to ensure maximum comfort and satisfaction.
  • Manage the end-to-end hospitality experience for client meetings, tours, and presentations, including proactive coordination of premium catering, beverage service, and external support staff.
  • Serve as a skilled brand ambassador by conducting impromptu showroom tours for unannounced guests when sales staff are unavailable.
  • Provide essential support during occasional evening events and after-hours functions.
  • Lead logistical coordination for sales and marketing events, including managing personalized guest amenities and service items.
  • Ensure immaculate hygiene and seamless operation of all client and internal servery areas, setting and managing shared space maintenance.
  • Provide immediate technical support for all office and AV/IT equipment to eliminate delays or disruptions.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of all hosting, catering, and business centre supplies to prevent service disruption.
  • Coordinate showroom product updates and installations, including required meetings, subcontractors, and delivery schedules.
  • Process purchase orders, cheque requests, invoicing, and maintain accurate vendor master records.
  • Coordinate and maintain team calendars and schedules to optimize time and resource allocation.
  • Track detailed records of customer visits and showroom engagement metrics, providing essential data for sales strategy development.
  • Serve as a reliable administrative resource for the British Columbia team, providing local support.
  • Assist with the coordination and administrative assembly of RFP responses as needed.
Qualifications / Educational Requirements
  • Post‑secondary education in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a high‑end hospitality, service, or executive support environment with a focus on meticulous presentation and client‑facing skills.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how showroom experience impacts the sales pipeline.
  • Highly organized with proven ability to multitask.
  • Resourceful, detail‑oriented, and flexible.
  • Effective collaborator with multiple internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivated with initiative and reliability.
  • Process‑driven and able to conceptualize new ways of delivering services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, Adobe Suite, and Google applications.
  • Experience in a CRM environment.
  • Prior knowledge of the office furniture industry or Architecture and Design Industry is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is a strong asset.
