A Catholic elementary school in North Vancouver is seeking a full-time Educational Assistant from December 17-19 and January 5-16. The position requires a commitment to students' development and experience with diverse needs. The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. St. Pius X Elementary School is seeking a full‑time Educational Assistant from December 17‑19 and then from January 5‑16 (appx. 2.5 weeks) with potential for the position to be extended.
The successful candidate must be committed to students’ faith development, enjoy working with children, have experience working with students of diverse needs, take initiative, have excellent communication skills, and be able to contribute to a collaborative team approach.
Please note: Familiarity with education‑based technology is necessary.
