Wajax invites applications for a Shop Technician-Lead Hand to lead a team of technicians in our Canadian operations. The role involves guiding shop and field work, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring safety and quality in every repair project.
Qualified candidates have 3-4 years of leadership experience, a trade certification or Journeyman Red Seal, and familiarity with Detroit/Allison systems and diagnostic software. Pre-delivery inspections and warranty checks are part of daily duties.
As a key member of the Wajax team, the Shop Technician-Lead Hand addresses customer inquiries and requests for repairs, and resolves any issues as required. The incumbent is responsible to ensure that employees are performing their duties and completing tasks to standard, and in accordance with Safe Work Procedures.
