Candidates should have post-secondary education in a related field and at least 5 years of fleet maintenance experience. A valid Class 5 driver's license is also required. Our Distribution group is currently seeking a Shop Lead Hand to join our Fleet team based in North Battleford, SK.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Support Services, this position is responsible for leading and coordinating all fleet shop activities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment. This role operates within the fleet maintenance framework, ensuring that operations meet Valard’s high standards for safety, quality, and operational readiness. The position also provided leadership, mentoring, and hands‑on support to mechanics and technicians, ensuring the fleet remains fully operational to support project execution.
