Job description

King Spud Potato Transport Ltd is currently looking for a shop/farm helper to join our crew.

This person would need to be able to do a little bit of everything. Some tasks involved in this job are :

• greasing highway tractors and trailers at regular maintenance intervals
• Changing oil on semis and small vehicles in our fleet at regular intervals.
• helping mechanics with equipment safeties and other mechanical duties when needed ( will train)
• tire changes and repairs
• washing and cleaning equipment
• parts runs
• mowing grass and weed trimming
• operating skid steer for various tasks
• helping on our farm operation side with various tasks as needed from time to time.
• help keep shop clean

Must have a class five license

The successful applicant must be willing to learn and coachable. This opportunity would overlap from our trucking company to farm and provide a variety of work experience . We will train someone to do anything they are unsure of !

This is a full time , year round opportunity.

Monday to Friday work with some weekends when needed.
