Material Handler / Warehouse Supervisor

Kitply specializes in sandpaper and edge‑banding and offers an extensive selection of more than 20,000 products, which include shop supplies, functional, decorative and specialty hardware, wood components and panels.

  • Build product orders for delivery by hand and using a forklift safely.
  • Proficient with safe Sit‑Down Counterbalance operation.
  • Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment.
  • Rotate yard stock and safely move materials using a forklift.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of orders prior to delivery.
  • Complete and maintain necessary delivery paperwork and any applicable requirements for tracking.
  • Work with store units to coordinate paperwork.
  • Fill storage racks when stock is low.
  • Inspect all items for mislabels and defects.
  • Identify all products and locations by using vendor, item #s, pack size, code dates, and descriptions to ensure product is moved to correct location.
  • Ensuring warehouse operations are always in compliance with WorkSafe Standards.
  • Assembles orders and over‑length materials, identifies products from transfer requests, locates material, counts quantity, builds and secures loads. Operates forklift to prepare transfers, transports material, loads and unloads transfer vehicles. Reviews daily schedule of pre‑booked incoming deliveries. Ensures storage space is available. Receives unscheduled deliveries as facility will permit.
  • Ensures inventory adjustment sheets are updated.
  • Documents and processes delivery returns ensuring merchandise is returned to stock or to the supplier.
  • Ensures all lifts are piled evenly with no leans and compliant with safety standards.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly yard and warehouse as directed.
  • Performs other job‑related duties as required including but not limited to snow plowing, container moving, warehouse maintenance and any other specialized moves that would require heavy equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Full Time: 30 hours per week | Salary: $22-$26 per hour
