Job summary

IMT Precision is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to manage receipt and shipment of materials in a manufacturing setting, with emphasis on compliant processes and inventory accuracy.

You will collaborate with Inventory, Planning, Quality, and Production to ensure smooth material flow and documentation, with extended hours as needed. This is a full-time role in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Requires post-secondary education in a related field. assets for trade compliance, logistics, SCM.
• Minimum 3–5 years shipping/receiving experience in manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments; ERP/MRP experience.
• Knowledge of export documentation and shipping compliance.

Job Type:Full-Time, Temporary 12-month contract

Position Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the accurate, secure, and compliant receipt and shipment of materials, components, and finished goods within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures adherence to export controls, customer contractual obligations, and internal inventory and quality standards.

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator acts as a critical link between Inventory, Planning, Quality, and Production to ensure materials flow efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory and business requirements.

Education & Experience

• Education:
  • Post-secondary education in Trade Compliance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field considered an asset
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of shipping and receiving experience with manufacturing environment
  • Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
  • Experience in the defense industry considered an asset
• Technical Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in with ERP/MRP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 considered an asset
  • Knowledge of export documentation and shipping compliance requirements
  • Understanding of inventory transaction controls and material traceability
  • familiarity with carrier booking systems and freight coordination
