Job summary

Requirements

Successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation of all warehouse functions including, but not limited to:

  • Daily operation of all material handling equipment.
  • Manage WIP and consumable movement between the warehouse and production.
  • Collect and prepares finished goods for shipping/storage.
  • Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments for damage, tampering, and discrepancies. Report issues to supervisor or designate.
  • Deliver to, or notify, the appropriate department of any received items - including production, maintenance and office staff.
  • Load and unload trailers.
  • Resolve F/G’s labelling and inventory errors prior to product storage or shipment.
  • Properly handle and store all hazardous goods.
  • Organize and maintain North pallet storage area.
  • Organize and maintain Warehouse and WIP storage areas.
  • Stage product for all outbound shipments.
  • Ability to successfully perform all shipping and receiving functions as needed.
  • Expected to communicate with carrier and shipping companies
  • Regular use of RF Guns and computers.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications

Shifts TBD, but will require regular weekend work. Flexibility will be required to cover for shipping department vacations. Schedule will be subject to change as needed based upon future business needs.

Good attendance, quality record, good colour vision and good safety record on power equipment.

Power equipment and shipper/receiver experience an asset.
