Job summary

Sport Chek, a Sport Chek store, is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to ensure inventory is received accurately or transferred between stores. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, scanning distributions, maintaining logs, and supporting inventory counts.

The position emphasizes physical capability (up to 50lbs), flexible scheduling, and customer-focused teamwork in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for active, healthy living and sports.
• Retail inventory control or warehouse experience is an asset.
• Ability to lift and move heavy containers (up to 50lbs).
• Must be able to complete a background check and be 18+.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules.
• Computer literacy is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks.
• Scan incoming distributions and transfers; maintain shipping logs.
• Monitor un-received cartons and file claims with FGL.
• Sort shipments and distribute product accordingly.
• Transfer stock between stores as requested.
• Detail received shipments from supply companies.
• Keep shipping/receiving area clean and organized.
• Assist in preparation for physical inventory counts.
• Deliver excellent customer experience to support performance targets.
