Job summary

Aplin is seeking a dependable Shipper/Receiver in Saskatoon to coordinate daily shipping and receiving, manage schedules, and support warehouse operations. You will work with production, operations, and transportation providers to ensure orders are prepared and shipped on time.

The role requires 2–4 years in shipping/receiving, forklift certification, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple shipments while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years shipping and receiving experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Forklift certification required; experience operating forklifts and telehandlers a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to coordinate multiple shipments and priorities.
• Experience arranging freight and maintaining shipping documentation; familiarity with ERP/WMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate processing of customer orders.
• Schedule shipments, arrange transportation, and liaise with carriers to meet delivery requirements.
• Load/unload trucks using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Inspect, label, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory control processes.
• Coordinate workloads and assist with scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Provide direction and support to shipping personnel to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to resolve shipping issues and maintain customer service.
• Complete shipping documentation and quality checks in ERP/WMS systems.
• Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
