Job summary

Kristian Electric Ltd. in Calgary is seeking a Shipper/Receiver/Labourer to join our shop and warehouse team. You will help maintain a clean, safe workspace, assist skilled tradespeople, operate basic tools, and support deliveries, packing, and shipping to customers.

We value reliability, teamwork, and a proactive approach. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving abstract, and a forklift operator certificate; steel-toed footwear and safety awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record as shown by a 3-year abstract.
• Forklift operator certificate is required for daily warehouse tasks.
• Experience delivering and receiving equipment is an asset.
• Customer service and professional communication are valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties.
• Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools.
• Occasional deliveries and pick-ups will be required.
• Receive welding machines and chain hoists for repair and coordinate with warehouse.
• Pack and ship repaired units to customers with the warehouse team.
• Document shipping records daily.
• Report damages and shortages to vendors with required details.
• Perform and document inspection reports on equipment with team.
• Maintain clean and safe warehouse, shipping/receiving bays, and yard.
