Job summary

Alberta Motor Association (AMA) is seeking a Warehouse Services assistant to support our Calgary operations in an in-office role. You’ll coordinate material transport to AMA locations, manage receipts, and maintain accurate shipping records while collaborating with internal teams and contractors.

The position requires a high school diploma and a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license, with experience in shipping/receiving considered an asset.

  • Experience in shipping/receiving or vehicle transport is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the transportation of materials by couriering items to AMA locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery for scheduled and on-demand requests.
  • Safely handle and lift items weighing up to 30 kg independently.
  • Oversee the receipt of materials from incoming vehicles, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Document and track shipping and receiving transactions utilizing specialized software systems.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Assist a wide variety of building operation tasks to support AMA facilities, such as providing support building operators and/or contractors.
