Job summary

Kal Tire is hiring a Shipper Receiver in Sparwood, BC. The role involves managing tires and wheels flow, shipping outbound orders, and supporting both retail and Mining Tire Group customers.

You will work in a physical, detail-oriented environment where accuracy and safety are critical. Expect 40 hours weekly with travel to a mine site within Elk Valley, and opportunities for training and growth within a stable team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs in a physically demanding environment.
• Mining or Tire industry experience is an asset.
• Experience driving on mine sites around haul trucks is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail when checking, labeling and organizing inventory.
• Good organizational skills and ability to stay on top of multiple tasks.
• Commitment to working safely at all times.
• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming tires and wheels
• Prepare and ship outgoing orders accurately and on time
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support monthly counts
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and easy to navigate
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times
• Stay active throughout your shift, including lifting and moving product
• Work closely with the store team to support daily operations

Store Details

• Work Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly travel to Mine Site within Elk Valley is required
