Job summary

South Country Equipment, a family-owned John Deere dealer network with 8 locations across southern Saskatchewan, seeks a shipper/receiver to ensure accurate inventory, organized stocking, and timely shipments across our stores.

The full-time, permanent role offers training, development, overtime pay, and the opportunity to support growers in Canadian agriculture while representing John Deere.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation required or preferred.
• Experience with inventory control and stock organization.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Ability to handle lifting and physical tasks confidently.
• Basic computer skills for shipping/receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify orders.
• Inspect damages or discrepancies and document them.
• Organize and stock inventory in designated areas.
• Pick and pack orders for shipment and create shipping labels.
• Coordinate with carriers for timely delivery and maintain orderly shipping area.
• Maintain a clean, organized shipping and receiving space.

What you'll do:

Our shipper/receiver supports our stores by ensuring all incoming and outgoing inventory is being taken care of effectively and with care. You are the person that keeps the store operating smoothly through effective inventory control and organization Your duties will include:
