We act as a manufacturer’s sales representative in the Province of B.C. and Yukon Territory and are an important source of market-related information for key brands.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Ship, receive, and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment, and stock to and from our business.
• Determine method of shipment, arrange shipping, prepare bills of lading, record serial numbers, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer.
• Email order confirmations and packing slips to our customer purchasers.
• Provide excellent customer service by phone and in person.
• Give customers basic information on products (on-hand stock levels and pricing).
• Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack product to be shipped, and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents and record shortages.
• Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
• Unload trucks, operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
• Organize and pick orders to be shipped by freight or courier companies.
• Assist with call-in orders.
• Process shipments, print waybills and labels for attaching to product.
• File copies of packing slips in records.
• Order shipping supplies and stock from factories as required for warehouse.
• Work with the Sales Representatives to process orders in a timely manner.
• Take phone messages from customers when other staff is preoccupied.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Ability to lift weights of up to 50 lbs.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks within the shipping & receiving area.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Good attention to details, able to follow policies/procedures, and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to the safety of self and others.
• Standard math and basic computer skills.
• Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $24.00CAD per hour
