A leading drilling equipment provider in North Bay is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee operations in a high-production machine shop. Responsibilities include managing production staff, ensuring compliance with ISO-9001 standards, and conducting safety meetings. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing and strong leadership skills. We are currently seeking a Shift Supervisor to join our Boart Longyear team in North Bay, ON.
The Shift Supervisor will oversee the operations of a unionized high-production machine shop as per the collective agreement. The role involves assisting with payroll, maintaining the production schedule, ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures, and monitoring quality and environmental system procedures. The Shift Supervisor will also conduct monthly departmental safety and quality meetings.
