Shift: 42hrs / week - 5:30am-6:30pm (depending on operations need the hours may vary)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Shift Supervisor for the warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for warehouse operations. The successful candidate will report to the Distribution Manager and or a designated individual, and will also work closely with Customer Service and Scheduling.

What you’ll do

• Analyze shipment logs
• Ensure efficient work flow for shippers and drivers
• Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries.
• Track inventory levels
• Order new supplies in a timely manner
• Constantly work to improve processes
• Make suggestions for productivity improvements
• Optimize employee workflowand ensure shift coverage is adequate
• Determine and track the most important warehouse KPIs
• Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
• Communicate and collaborate with other team members
• Be compliant with CTPAT regulations and ensure the facility and team are also compliant
• Train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers.
• Additional duties as required by business growth and change
