Job Summary:

We seek a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and structures. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
• Measure and mark sheet metal according to specifications
• Cut, shape, and bend sheet metal using various tools and equipment such as shears, saws, and presses
• Weld, solder, and braze sheet metal parts to assemble products
• Install and repair sheet metal products and structures, such as roofs, ductwork, and HVAC systems
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Always adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
• Collaborate with team members and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Experience with welding, soldering, and brazing
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
• Good physical dexterity and stamina
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
