Job summary

Humble Manufacturing in Burnaby, BC is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator & Welder for our day shift, Monday to Friday. This role blends welding with CNC sheet metal fabrication and general fabrication tasks in a precision shop.

You will work with MIG, TIG and laser welding as needed, operate turret punch presses, grinders, sanders and drills, and contribute to a clean, safe production environment. Training and support are provided to help you grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Welding experience with MIG/TIG is a plus.
• Care for quality and precision in metal work.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in a busy shop.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to learn and grow in metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Operate metal fabrication equipment and welding processes as required.
• Run CNC sheet metal fabrication machinery (turret punch press).
• Use insertion presses, grinders, sanders, drills and deburring tools.
• Assist with cleaning and shop housekeeping as part of daily tasks.

Humble Manufacturing is an established, growing, precision sheet metal fabrication company seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator & Welder at their Burnaby facility, a 10-minute walk from Skytrain. Looking for a Metal Fabrication generalist to work on our day shift, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Work on metal fabrication equipment such as but limited to:
• Part-time welding (MIG, TIG & laser welding)
• Operate CNC sheet metal fabricating machinery including turret punch press.
• Insertion press.
• Grinders, sanders, drills, saws, and de-burring equipment.
• Cleaning etc.

Desired Skills:

• Welding experience (2 years)
• Attention to detail and care for quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Desire to learn.
• Willingness to do what is required to meet our customer's needs.
