Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sheet metal experience.
• On-site work with physical demands.
• Must hold Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification.
• Aerial lift and forklift certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Measure and mark sheet metal according to template.
• Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal.
• Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces.
• Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification.
• Cut materials using power tools or by hand.
• Fit and join sheet metal parts.
• Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
