Southwestern Public Health in Woodstock is seeking a physician to provide comprehensive sexual health services in a community-focused setting. The role includes examining and treating STIs, offering birth control options, and performing cervical screenings within a patient-centered, trauma-informed framework.
The position requires Ontario licensure (CPSO) with CCFP or FRCPC, CMPA coverage, and the ability to work evenings and travel between locations as needed.

At SWPH, our goal is to support people in Oxford County, Elgin County and the City of St. Thomas to achieve and maintain optimal sexual health and reduce the prevalence of sexually transmitted infections and unintended pregnancies. We provide evidence-based, client-centered, trauma-informed, non-judgmental, confidential, accessible and affordable clinical services.
This position will require availability to work approximately 1 shift a month, along with additional vacation coverage as needed.
Candidates are r equired to maintain a current valid Ontario Driver’s license and reliable access to an insured working vehicle.
A criminal reference check completed within the last six (6) months from a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPID), inclusive of vulnerable sector screening ,will be req uired of the successful candidate.
Immunization Requirements: Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, are able to provide proof of immunization, and acknowledgement to follow Southwestern Public Health's policies and processes related to COVID-19 management in the workplace.
