Course Description: Through research, concept development, as well as direct engagement with materials and processes, students will explore the constructed image and constructedness as an intersection of theory and practice.
Class Schedule: Mondays, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Sessional Dates of Appointment: 1 January 2026 to 30 April 2026 (Winter semester)
Salary: $9,820.70 (Sessional Lecturer I); $10,510.04 (Sessional Lecturer I – Long Term $10,510.04 (Sessional Lecturer II); $10,760.28 (Sessional Lecturer II – Long Term); $10,760.28 (Sessional Lecturer III); $11,030.36 (Sessional Lecturer III – Long Term). *Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.
Minimum Qualifications: MA or MFA required with teaching experience. Applicants may be asked to supply references.

Description of Duties: Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, preparation and delivery of assignments and tests; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions, and student contact hours.

Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.
