Estimate of TA Support: 275 hours; allocation of TA hours is based on enrolment numbers.
Class Schedule: Mondays, 5:00-7:00pm; Wednesdays, 5:00-6:00pm. You are required to be located in geographical proximity to the applicable University premises in order to attend and perform your duties on University premises as of the Starting Date.
Sessional dates of appointment: January 1, 2026 - April 30, 2026

Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.
Please note: Undergraduate or graduate students and postdoctoral fellows of the University of Toronto are covered by the CUPE 3902 Unit 1 collective agreement rather than the Unit 3 collective agreement, and should not apply for positions posted under the Unit 3 collective agreement.
Master’s (or higher) degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Mathematics Education required. Teaching experience required. Knowledge of course material, being responsible and able to keep deadlines are essential.
There is an expectation that the different sections of a multi-section course will function similarly: they will normally have the same syllabus and assessment plan, and will have common midterm exams and final exam. Problem sets and quizzes should be common, or at least similar/interchangeable, and should operate at a similar level with a similar approach. Normally, classes, tests and tutorials will be conducted in person.
