Course number and title: GLA2096H European Governance and Policy Experiential Course

Course description: MGA students will participate in an experiential course in Brussels, Belgium during the winter reading week (February 16-20). Students will write a policy paper on a topic related to European governance and policy, interview EU officials, and use their research for the paper.

Salary
  • Sessional Lecturer I - $9,820.70
  • Sessional Lecturer I – Long Term - $10,510.04
  • Sessional Lecturer II - $10,510.04
  • Sessional Lecturer II – Long Term - $10,760.28
  • Sessional Lecturer III - $10,760.28
  • Sessional Lecturer III – Long Term - $11,030.36

Note: Rates may vary according to the collective agreement.

Qualifications
  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in international relations or similar.
  • Preferred: Professional experience in European affairs, connections to EU officials, and ability to travel to Brussels during the reading week.

  • Organize meet and greets with EU officials.
  • Grade final policy papers.
