The University of Niagara Falls Canada invites applications to teach Master of Data Analytics (MDA) in Fall 2026. This seasonal, hybrid instructor role requires on-site presence a minimum of two days per week and pays a per-course rate of $7,200 CAD, with installments.

Qualifications

• PhD in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, and DAX.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and data storytelling.
• Proficiency in databases, including SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Prior post-secondary teaching experience considered an asset.
• Industry experience in data analytics or business intelligence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures across in-person, online, or hybrid modalities to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Prepare, update, and maintain course materials, including assignments, quizzes, and exams, ensuring accessibility and relevance.
• Offer regular office hours to meet with students, address inquiries, and provide academic support.
• Design, grade, and provide feedback on assignments, tests, and exams in a timely and consistent manner.
• Collaborate on curriculum development to align content with industry standards and trends.
• Use internal software to manage grades, track progress, and update students on course material.
