Services Quality Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Services Quality Engineer to oversee quality assurance activities throughout the lifecycle of our services in the region, from contract review to warranty resolution. The role involves collaboration with various functions within the North American Services organization, including tender preparation, customer warranty resolution, and coordination with operations and site quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Set and monitor service quality targets.
  2. Lead quality assurance activities and represent the region in quality network meetings.
  3. Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders on quality issues, including containment and corrective actions.
  4. Report on quality KPIs and develop recovery plans when deviations occur.
  5. Ensure compliance with quality standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role, with expertise in structured problem-solving tools (QRQC, 8D, PDCA, FMEA, audits, etc.).
  • Knowledge of project management fundamentals.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (preferred).
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand gauging and measurement techniques.
  • Multilingual skills (English/French) are a plus.

Typical Day:

  • Planning and prioritizing tasks efficiently in a collaborative environment.
  • Analyzing data to identify trends and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
  • Engaging in coordination with customers on quality issues.
  • Using computer systems and tools for documentation and reporting.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Standing for up to 4 hours daily.
  • Lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions, including temperature extremes, dust, fumes, and noise.
  • Travel up to 25% as required.

Compensation & Benefits:
