Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Winnipeg seeks a team member to assist in customer service and management tasks. Responsibilities include developing estimates, interpreting inspection results, and overseeing operational activities. Candidates should have at least one year in automotive service, strong supervisory skills, and a valid driver’s license. Qualifications

  • At least 1-year related experience in the automotive service business preferred.
  • Current and valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

  • Develop and present estimates, source parts and sell jobs to customers.
  • Interpret inspection results and present results to customers.
  • Oversee work order preparation and scheduling.
  • Respond to customer service concerns and problems.
  • Act in a store management capacity as needed on operational activities.
  • Provide training to service providers.

Job description

At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and present estimates, source parts and sell jobs to customers
  • Interpret inspection results (working with Technician) and present results to customers
  • Oversee the processes of work order preparation and scheduling
  • Respond to customer service concerns and problems
  • Act in a store management capacity as needed on day-to-day operational activities
  • Enhance the effectiveness of Human Resources and quality of service through providing training to service providers
  • Monitors and control facility and asset utilization
  • Enforce compliance with environmental and safety regulations and statutes
Qualifications
  • At least 1-year related experience in the automotive service business preferred
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Supervisory and management skills
  • Service diagnosis and technical skills an asset
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
