Job Description

We are looking for a Service Writer to join our team! This position will provide technical direction and accountability for scheduling all equipment service and repairs with the internal team within the service operation. The Service Writer will also collaborate with the shop manager/foreman to ensure timelines and process flow are maintained to support accurate and timely work-in-progress processing.

Collaborate with the Shop Mechanics to ensure all service reports provided are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications
  • Minimum post-secondary education
  • Minimum 5 years experience in service operations
  • Knowledge of the AS-400
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good communication and decision-making skills
  • Technical, Mechanical, and problem-solving skills
  • Focused on cost analysis and cost reduction
