Job description

We are looking for a Service Technologist! Do you have experience with troubleshooting, repairing, testing and investigating electronic devices? Are you a passionate, hardworking individual with a can-do attitude? Look no further!

This is a full-time, permanent, Monday-Friday position in Burnaby. Compensation:

  • Base salary of $65K
  • 3 weeks of paid vacation

Responsibilities
  • Receiving, troubleshooting, and repairing returned products as well as completing verification tests and reviews
  • Data-entry for all troubleshooting, repairs, and testing of products
  • Work in-depth with the Quality team to dig into field failures and document any findings
  • Maintain all test jigs that are used for above activities
  • Assisting / collaborating with other departments and team members as necessary
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics Technology
  • Strong experience with troubleshooting and test methods for electronics
  • Thorough understanding of analog and digital electronics, wiring diagrams, schematics, and PCB layout
  • Experience using Windows and Linux
  • Experience using all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • IPC-A-610 Certification considered an ideal asset
  • Fantastic verbal and written communication
  • Positive, professional team player with a can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow
