Job Title: Service Technician (Gas Fitter)

Location: Halifax, NS, CAN

Duration: 11-Sep-2023 to 11-Oct-2023 (PST)

Pay Rate: $25 to $45 per hour

Employment Type: Full Time

A Day in the Life: Our Service Technicians repair and maintain commercial kitchen appliances and refrigeration equipment, including cooking equipment (gas, steam, electric), dishwashers, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens. We support your training and educational goals if you're not currently certified. Your role involves servicing complex equipment and providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Education in appliance service or related field preferred
  • Gasfitter certification (G2) preferred
  • Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting commercial food equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license with a relatively clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Availability for overtime and on-call rotation
  • Ability to travel to other locations or for training as needed
