I am currently looking for a rare pearl to occupy a permanent daytime industrial mechanic position in greater Ottawa for a company specializing in the industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Installation, assembly, repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Proficient in repairing Lift Trucks, Material Handling Equipments
  • Troubleshooting and adjustment of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Travel to customers for work
  • Workshop work (cutting, drilling, tapping, etc.)
  • Handling of industrial equipment and their components
  • Evaluates and establishes prices, according to customer requests for services on the road, collaborates directly with the buyer and the parts clerk
  • Plan and estimate for service customers
  • Maintenance of customer relations
Profile sought
  • DEP in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience working on conveyor equipment (asset)
  • ASP construction competency card (strong asset)
  • Have technical skills, as well as manual dexterity
  • Bilingual in English and French (strong written and oral skills)
  • Excellent sense and approach to customer service
  • Ability to work on the road
  • Good stress management
