Service Technician

Job - Permanent Full-time - Technician / Technical - maintenance / repair

Office: Kitchener - Kitchener Ontario N/A. Schedule: Monday to Friday (Day). As soon as possible

Description: The Service Technician will be responsible for completion of a regimented Preventative Maintenance schedule within existing customers. Helping to drive new sales with customers in the Ottawa area. The right individual will be a self motivator to complete each set of weekly tasks and maintaining the relationships and business within our existing accounts. You will provide Preventative, Emergency Service and equipment installation along with product knowledge to satisfy and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities: As a member of the Territory Manager’s team, the Service Technician provides expertise in the following challenges:

  • Execute Preventative Maintenance Plan;
  • Ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation programs are in place for each customer;
  • Rotational Emergency On Call;
  • Drive new sales in existing accounts;
  • Filling out accurate Electronic Service Reports;
  • Customer training on new products and equipment;
  • Perform installations of new/replacement dishwashers and other systems; adjust to particular operating parameters.
  • On call requirement 1 in 3 weekends

Requirements: To perform you must :

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract;
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude;
  • Ability to use hand tools;
  • Some sales experience;
  • Electronic technology experience (excel, word, power point, apps);
  • Ability to work rotational on call weekends.
