Position

Service Technician

  • Location : Edmonton, CA
  • Schedule : Mon - Fri 8 : 00am - 4 : 30 pm
Responsibilities
  • Perform assemblies for hydraulic and pneumatic units.
  • Assembly hydraulic and pneumatic panels.
  • Perform internal and external repairs, and provide emergency services and on-site troubleshooting as needed.
  • Diagnose problems related to hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, control, and electrical systems.
  • Perform inspection and preventative maintenance services.
  • Install and commission hydraulic / pneumatic equipment.
  • Fabricate and install tubing and hoses at customer plant.
  • Follow company processes and procedures for all service calls, repairs, and warranty claims, including proper documentation in our system.
  • Provide technical assistance, product advice to customers.
  • Educate customers about products and provide recommendations for system modifications.
  • Build trust and develop relationships with clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate and visit key clients according to a strategic schedule.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations / policies at Wainbee and client facilities.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements :

  • 2 years and more of experience in industrial mechanics and / or hydraulic / pneumatic systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic schematics is an asset.
  • Technical training and demonstrated knowledge of industrial products are an asset.
  • Must be able to carry, lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to bend, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and work in awkward positions for extended periods
  • Must be able to use hand tools and have their own tools for the shop.
  • Must be able to travel to the customer site up to 100% of the time, including interprovincial travel as required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Travel to the customer site.
  • Good communication skills and technical knowledge.
  • Must undergo a background check and driving history summary.
