Looking for a great opportunity to work with the largest RV Dealer in the industry? Interested in developing or advancing your career?

We're looking for qualified candidates to join our Service Team. This is a Full Time, regular position for our Fraserway RV Dealership in Bedford, Nova Scotia. RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROVIDED.

The RV Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing all types of RVs. Maintaining clear communication with the Service Manager and Service Writers to ensure repairs are approved prior to beginning the work. The RV Service Technician is also responsible for inputting clear and concise notes in work orders. In addition, the RV Service Technician may be required to meet with customers to discuss a diagnosis, potential repair, or to explain the work that has been completed.

Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing RVs requiring repair and maintenance
  • Good diagnostic skills
  • Repairing and maintenance work on propane gas and electrical appliances
  • Completing all paperwork and documentation of all repairs
  • Customer service and any other duties pertaining to the Service Technician role
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
  • Red Seal certification, preferred
  • RV or automotive maintenance/service experience is an asset
  • RV & Trailer repairs experience an asset
  • Experience with Plumbing, Carpentry, or Electrical, Propane systems, Water Heaters, Furnaces, Refrigerators, Rubber roofs (Automotive or Industrial)
  • Experience with brakes, suspensions, vehicle hitch and wiring
  • General house renovation skills
  • Good attitude.
  • Ability to work Saturdays
